A Simple Weight Loss Formula

If losing weight was one of your New Year’s resolutions, I’m guessing you’ve left off with it by now. If not, congratulations.

If so, below is a simple weight loss formula for you. It’s wrapped up in the word diet. I don’t remember where I read it, so I can’t give proper attribution. But it’s devastating in its poignancy.

First, you’ve heard all you need to hear about eating well. You know what I’m talking about.

Eat more fruits and vegetables. Avoid refined sugars and white flour. Eat less red meat. Stay away from diet soda pop with its aspartame.

Don’t kid yourself. You already know what you should and shouldn’t be doing.

So as the late Paul Harvey might have said, “You know what the news is. Now you’re going to hear the rest of the story.”

Here’s the formula. Say it to yourself every time you’re tempted to indulge.

This?
